Gas Station - Southern Massachusetts
Omni Environmental Group is managing the on-going $750,000 assessment and remediation of a gasoline release from a gas station. The gasoline plume extends over 800 feet from the point of release. The facility is near numerous residential and institutional properties serviced by private water supply wells.
A high vacuum extraction remedial system is removing light non-aqueous phase liquid and treating impacted soil and ground water. Omni Environmental Group provided oversight of the cleanup system design, construction and installation and is operating the high vacuum extraction cleanup system.
Reimbursement Claim Submittals
Omni Environmental Group is managing the claim preparation process to obtain reimbursement from the State underground storage tank reimbursement fund (also known as the 21J Fund and the UST Program).
