Omni Environmental Group prepared a Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan for an active electric generation and transmission facility. The facility has an aboveground oil storage capacity of 880,000 gallons and is located adjacent to a river. Oil is stored on both sides of the river which requires oil transfer across the water. The SPCC Plan evaluates where and how oil spills may occur at the facility, describes notification requirements for an oil spill and details the personnel and methods to respond to and cleanup different sizes and types of oil spills.
